Taking a break from the internet.

So I will be around but not much.

My family needs me and I haven't been there for them like I should be. I have been distracted for so long :( Its hard to say it but its true.

I won't be on NC for a while. I will be keeping up with Woolaholics though since I'm doing a swap and well cause I just WON'T give up my knitting LOL

anyways so heaps has been going on lately. HEAPS. I feel very drained.
I have decided to close my short lived shop, Drybbles. It needs to happen. Tonight isa it, at Midnight. Its closed. Thankfully there isn't much left to sell. If it doesn't sell I can give it away as gifts since I know a few peeps with babies or that are pregnant!!!

I had a visitor yesterday. Well as it turns out I have been organising to meet with Davine since she moved up here. So now that things have kind of settled down we organised for the saturday before last but then I woke up that morning feeling like shite :( So then we organised for yesterday and everything was going fine, the kids had been terrors all day though but we were ready to go then it felt like everything exploded, the kids were being horrible and then Lucy was so cranky that I put her down for a sleep. So I message Davina who was already down at the park and said I couldn't make it. The my phone rings and I was so happy to hear it was Davina and she asked to come over :D

She so lovely!!! I look foreward to meeting up again soon!!! I wish my kids weren't being terrors though :S It was an insanely stressfull day.

We were planning to have a party for Lily today, her bday isn't till tomorrow but thought it would work. Well it rained :( so we cancelled the party and decided to take the kids to freckles fun factory instead. They had a great time. So now instead we are just having family over tomorrow night for party food and cake and opening pressies :D

anyways so I need to get off this puter. I am about to go and bake a cake for Lily to take to kindy for her bday in the morning. I am also baking chocolate muffins as our family tradition is to have big choc muffins for breakfast on our bdays :) and yeah then I can sit with Yowie and have a cup of tea with him :)

I can't believe Lily will be 4 tomorrow!!! It seems so strange.

I am also trying to thin my stash a bit as I just cannot justify having this many nappies, and Grace is starting to become toilet aware and I have more then enough for Lucy.

I found this family pic taken just over 2 years ago...gosh I have changed. That hair cut was the last time I had short hair, ever since I've let it grow and kept it black too :D

Lucy wasn't even thought about here and awww my kids were so little...hehe I love that photo.

anyways so I as usual have been sewing and made a few AIO's for the girls. I am over pockets now and am selling off my pocket stash. I love the easiness of fitteds and knitteds :D and AIO's!!! So thats all I'm sticking to.

Plus I finished my soaker. I love how it fits. Am going to start another one soon, plus am making one for a fellow NCer who bought wool but doesn't knit :)

I finally started making a pair of shorties out of the custom wool I got from Ali (BumNRound) it is sooooo soft and wish I could afford to knit everything in this kind of wool!!!

I am undecided whether I want them to be shorties though. I may go with making them into a soaker :S I dunno...ahhhhhh LOL

I also started a soaker last night. I have offered to knit for one of the girls on NC who just bought wool but doesn't knit. So I am practising up by making a soaker for Lucy which was my plan anyways. I am using the Curly Purly pattern which I thought was really hard when I first started knitting.

This day 4 years ago was spent in bed. I remember well as my DH didn't let me leave the house for New Years Eve, with good reason too...I had been having major problems with my pregnancy.
In 3 weeks time it will be Lily's birthday. She will be 4 years old...OMG!!!

I can't believe she is already going to be 4. She has accomplished soooo much in her short life.

She is so strong yet so fragile, she is sooooooo pretty!!! She is a huge challenge for me as she is mighty stubborn but I love her to bits.

She was born way too early. She was a good size, 710grams at 24weeks,2days gestation.

Lily amazed me from day 1 and I was every bit in love with her. I was so blinded to what was really going on in her tiny body. She was my little girl and I was in love.

Lily spent 109days in hospital. She came home the day before her due date which was mothers day.

I am just sooo shocked that she is her today and about to turn 4!!! My mind is boggled!!!

I have spent tonight going through my fabrics. My sewing room is a disaster and needs allot of organising.

So tonight I went through my fabrics and sorted them all out. It has bought on a few ideas and was great for inspiration.

I need to work on my bibs, I have about 20 cut out, just need to cut out the back of the fabric, so that means a trip to spotlight :D

I have sooo many ideas whirling around my head but untill my sewing room is sorted I can't do much.

I also need an overlocker, I have one but it died :( A friend said I could borrow hers so I am taking her up on the offer!
